Aonair Winery & Caves embodies Grant Long Jr.'s dedication to Napa Valley winemaking in the heart of Cabernet Sauvignon. Our small-production philosophy allows us to craft rich expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon grown exclusively from the finest vineyards in the region. These highly sought-after wines are carefully allocated and available for purchase directly from the Aonair Estate.

The Arrow&Branch name pays homage to the Contursi Family’s success in the rare coin business, U.S. coinage & Americana. Found on the reverse of most United States coinage is an eagle holding arrows & an olive branch in its talons. This design signifies the U.S. as a peace loving nation & country’s ability to defend itself if that peace & freedom should be compromised. Our commitment is to put only the finest quality wines into an A&B bottle regardless of time or costs. Many decisions are made in the vineyards that reduce yield yet increase quality of the grape. The goal is to extract as much of the individual terroir characteristics in order to give our winemaker a palate of unique components to draw from & produce wine with complexities.

Our iconic, modern, hilltop Estate, just 15 minutes from both downtown Napa and Sonoma, is surrounded by rocky mountains, rolling vineyards, and breathtaking views across the San Pablo Bay. August Briggs Winery is an owner-managed craft producer of small lot wines showcasing some of Napa and Sonoma’s premier vineyards focused on a restrained winemaking philosophy that highlights wines of provenance, not pretense. Bazán Cellars is a boutique, family-owned winery offering intimate wine tasting in downtown Napa. Castello di Amorosa in Italian is “Castle of Love". This architectural masterpiece is an authentically built, 14th century Tuscan-style castle winery with 30 acres of estate vineyards. It was built over a 14-year period by Dario Sattui, a fourth-generation winemaker. After decades of studying medieval castles in Europe, Sattui commenced building in 1994. The Castello evolved to include 141,000 sq ft, 107 distinct rooms, (of which 95 are used for winemaking or wine storage). The Castello is a backdrop to showcase some of Napa Valley’s finest wines.
