Churu is a 3-year-old black cat with a white dot on his chest and one of the best purrs around. Hear a rumble and can’t tell where it’s coming from? It’s probably him.

He’s sweet, friendly, and gets along with every cat he meets. His special friend is Princess (also available for adoption), and he hasn’t met a feline he doesn’t like. With people, he warms up best when things move at an easy pace. Offer a little patience, a few treats, and a fleece wand toy, and you’ll have a friend for life.

Churu loves belly rubs, as long as they happen on his terms. If he’s not interested, he simply walks away. Take the hint and try again later.

Churu is food motivated, loves treats, and has come a long way since he arrived. He’s ready for a home with kind, gentle people.

I wonder if he likes kids, or if a quieter home would suit him better?

Sounds like he would fit right in with other cats. Best of luck, Churu!

My shy cat took a while to warm up, but the patience is worth it. Hope he gets a gentle home.

A fleece wand toy and treats would win me over too. What a handsome guy.

Could Churu and Princess be adopted together? They sound like a sweet pair.

I like that he gets to decide when belly rubs are over. Smart cat.
