About

Luigi Oldani’s path as a creator began early, accompanying his father on construction sites. He grew up watching raw materials transform into spaces and art through the hands of craftsmen. This inspired him to earn a mechanical engineering degree from UC Berkeley. In 2023, he shifted the studio focus to the production of original pieces. His expertise working with natural elements and reverence for the artist’s ability to evoke emotion through medium are the driving forces behind his work. Every item is designed by Luigi and handmade at OAS in Napa, California. The studio’s guiding philosophy is “truth in materials”—the belief that materials should be used in ways that honor their inherent properties and express their natural beauty.
