A Second Storefront, A New Chapter Downtown |
Becky Anderson opens Valley & Vine on First Street, building on two decades of Miyamo |

Downtown Napa has a new boutique, and it comes from someone who already knows the block well.
Becky Anderson opened Valley & Vine at 1317 First Street this spring, marking her second storefront in downtown Napa. Her first, Miyamo, has been a fixture in the area for more than 20 years, and Anderson brings that same eye for approachable, well-made clothing to this new space.
Where Miyamo built its identity around a broader retail mix, Valley & Vine leans specifically into Napa itself. The shop carries women's everyday apparel, accessories, and gifts, along with a strong lineup of Napa-branded merchandise — sweatshirts, mugs, and other pieces made for visitors who want to take a bit of the valley home with them. Denim, dresses, handbags, jewelry, and candles round out the racks, alongside Z Supply, a loungewear and apparel brand Anderson has carried at Miyamo for years.
Pricing stays approachable, too. Most items in the store sit under $100, reflecting Anderson's own preference for pieces that feel good and fit well without carrying a designer price tag.
The name captures what she was going for: a shop that feels distinctly tied to the valley, in a downtown that's increasingly built around tourism. It's a different kind of identity than Miyamo, which draws its name from a Potawatomi word for path or journey, tied to Anderson's own family history.
Valley & Vine Boutique is located at 1317 First Street in downtown Napa.
It's open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. |

I’m curious if the Napa-branded sweatshirts are eco-friendly or locally made. That would be a plus.
Grace Y.Grace, I asked the staff last week and they said most Napa merchandise is locally made, though I’m not sure on eco-friendliness. Good question to follow up on!
I like the mix of apparel and gifts. Makes it easy for visitors and locals to find something special.
Carlos D.Totally agree, Carlos. It's great to have one spot where you can find a cool gift and update your wardrobe.
Downtown Napa is really stepping up its shopping game with spots like this. Good for local economy!
Having two stores by the same owner in one block? That could be either a great thing or competition against herself.
Jerry M.Jerry, I wondered the same but it seems like each store has its own personality and target customer, so they complement rather than compete.
Can anyone say if they have a good candle selection? I’m on the lookout for nice scented candles.
Olivia P.Olivia, yes! They have a nice range of candles with subtle scents. I picked up a few gifts there last month and loved them.
I like that prices are approachable. So many boutiques these days feel overpriced and out of reach.
Great hours too, open late enough for after-dinner strolls downtown. Definitely stopping by soon.
The story behind the name Miyamo is really cool. Makes shopping there feel more personal.
I almost wish they’d include more menswear. Napa style isn’t just for women!
Love that Z Supply loungewear is available there. Comfortable clothes are a must for me these days.
Nina F.Nina, Z Supply has been my go-to for cozy wear too. Great to know you can grab some in downtown Napa now.
I’m a bit skeptical about how well a boutique centered on tourism can survive year-round in Napa. Hope they do.
It’s nice to see a store focusing on Napa-branded stuff rather than generic souvenirs, that’s what we need!
Jasmine L.Jasmine, yes! It really helps define Napa’s unique charm instead of just the usual tourist junk.
Been to Miyamo a few times, always loved their selection. Hope Valley & Vine keeps the same vibe.
Mike_WMike, I’ve shopped at Miyamo too and really appreciate Becky’s style. Valley & Vine definitely feels like it fits right in with the same vibe.
I wonder if they have any Napa wine-themed gifts. Perfect for tourists looking to bring something unique back home.
Under $100 sounds great. Finally some affordable options in Napa's shopping scene!
So glad to see another local business thriving downtown. I'll swing by Valley & Vine next time I'm around.
Lena M.Lena, you’ll love it! The store has a really welcoming vibe and some cute pieces you don’t see everywhere.
